- Simplicity and proven rugged
design
- Stability in high winds
The Chute
- Construction can be in any number of
sections and diameters depending upon individual requirements.
- A wide variety of sizes and lengths are
available.
- Sections are rolled with exacting
fabrication practices to insure concentricity.
- Heavy rings reinforce both ends of each
section for optimum structural integrity.
Controls
- An adjustable geared switch limits both
extremes of chute travel.
- An additional limit switch provides a
redundant means of control at the upper extreme of travel for added
safety.
- A slack cable sensing units are located
at the bottom of the chute; chute rises automatically as pile height
increases.
- An electric cable reel and cable is
included for the sensing units.
Actuation
- A grooved drum power winch with
electrically released, mechanically applied brake is used.
- Wire rope used in IWRC Premium Grade,
sized for a minimum of 5:1 safety factor.
